After search, only the Phoebus card have DTS Ultra. This card is based on CMI8888DHT (instead of CMI8788 for all other Xonar Card). In addition, DTS Ultra control panel is included in audio card control panel, instead of an external program, like for DHT. So, it's seems impossible for the moment.

Well I have problem installing newest drivers (1.71) but also seems like there is another problem with DHT4. It makes muddy sound when enabled, although I have no eq's selected. This totally ruins the sound and is not like it used to be 🙁 I dont know if it has something to do with test mode but now im stuck. See my other post if you wish. http://maxedtech.com/driver-signature-possible-solutions-discussions-page/

Thank you with hope for the future news for DTS... In any case the CMI8888DHT and CMI8788 is similar the only difference for CMI8888DHT is native PCI express not have bridge pci to pci express bridge. the problem remains then only software.

CMI8888 uses totally different set of drivers. DTS Ultra is part of those drivers. In my opinion it's highly unlikely you will ever see DTS Ultra features on other Xonars.

CMI8788 (Ver AV200) have a DTS and Dolby Digital hardware decoding/encoding the CMI8888 on Xonar Phoeobus and other (AV200) not have include this capability in any case.... under this aspect is is less technically. I'm not a developer but I do not understand how difficult it can be because it is already DTS / Dolby native

Any idea why I am unable to access DHT Addon Equalizer settings ever since upgrading to 1.72 Drivers? It works fine, I am just not able to change any of the profiles like I used to. Clicking on the little cog icon in the DHT tray app just shows me copyright info now.

for me work perfect only problem is driver use old 1821 v.1.71 not 1.72 for now
During setup select install addon in the unixonar 1822 v.172 menu; the driver logical replaced with old file of 1821 fo work but c-media console replaced by version present in unixonar 1822

I might try and completely uninstall and reinstall again. Everything installed fine when I first upgraded to 1.72, I just can't access any of the DHT settings like before. It does work though (I can turn DHT on and off, but can't get to the menu to change Surround Virtualizer and EQ settings etc)

Any chance of getting the CMI8888 addons to work with the CMI8828-based Diamond XS71HD? It's far cheaper than the Phoebus, and the chip seems quite similar.
