CarvedIns, I am useing Alexa addons with DG in Win7 64 bits, for voice clearity. I expected an Option of addons in your latest package UNi Xonar 1813 v1.63 beta,which I am useing right now,I watch movies and play games some time. With all the expertise you have along with Alexa create some software other than driver that can bring the difference to the Sound Card,giveing Option for Movies,Games & Chat.
I know that you actually only support Win 7 and Vista, but didn't you already built a Windows XP version a while back? If yes, could you reupload it, very please?
so do i have to install uni first and then alexa? cause i noticed alexa overwrites (?) current drivers. had 1.63 uni installed with 1813 driver. then alexa mod with put it back to 1807. now i installed alexa first and then the 1.63 with the driver cleaning unchecked. seems to work atleast but i dont know if it could cause problems 🙂
PS: tired this because no matter what settings i used i had no folder sounds in win7 64bit and my speakers in windowssoundconfiguration were set to 5.1. (it showed 7.1 but the plugin shematic showed holes for 5.1)
It overwrites the drivers because it need to install the drivers again to make the proper associations between the new features and the drivers. Interesting method you discovered there, by installing alexa's mods first, system will create the necessary associations and after that you can install UNi Xonar drivers over the old install. Think this is fine.
I dont understand the PS part. The problem with the sounds was with the drivers or with the addon
hi alexa I have problem use dolby home v4 after install codec pack with media player classic first install the codec pack DHT addon run perfect with all player but after, only run with Windows media player the orrible player this.
i'm having this same issue in first windows run it works fine...but after a while DHT4 stop working with winamp and windows...works with media player and youtube etc...

Second: The Andrea enhancements are nowhere to be found. I believe that happened last time; I thought mic boost was the enhancement, but apparently there are more.
Third: It seems the installation of addon 2 failed. The drivers and c-media panel installed ok, but the "Enhancements" tab is nowhere to be found.
Guys,what is the language interface of your os?Try to change to English(US).I test these addons on 3 comps with win8 32/64 bit and everything works fine.Also user who have win7 and have the these problems also may try to change to en-us.
i did a fresh instal of the driver and still dont work ... win 8 Pro x64 , Xonar D1 , uni driver vers 1 .63 beta ... maybe something wrong with the addon ?

Except in startup c-media control panel now. DHT's headphone virtualiser sounds completely different to original asus driver's DHP. Slider are some kind of dynamics expander for surround effect channels (better set to minimum). Overall sound is "cleaner", but as a result not so heterogenous. Also, I must say, with addon 1 unixonar driver sounds cleaner (same for modified (1794 -> any) official driver vs unixonar).

First i installed your #1 DHTA Addon along with your UNi Xonar 1800(1813) v1.63 beta it all worked very good, but i am a bit of a audio guru i mean i like my music to sound it's very best, so i uninstalled every thing i MEAN every thing it's a good thing i know a lot about Window 7 boy what a pain in the ass, then after all that i just installed Addon 1 that's it. It all works & sound very nice, and i though my setup couldn't get any better thanks again "O" yet forgot my setup is Asus Xonar Essence STX & Corsair SP2500

Addon 1, that is dolby,I installed it as a standalone driver first, tried it ,sounds perfect,there after I installed Uni xonar 1.63 over it,for Headphone effect ,Works great on Mkv,Avi,Rmvb etc files. Asus xonasr DG sound like a expensive card now. ADDON 2 , works great but cant be changed to Headphone as it gives out Noise Interference sound. enhancements works perfectly and can be changed for effect, On reducing Audio channel from 8 some enhancements also vanishes as per channel effect. I am useing it on window 7 64 bits,Card DG 5.1. All DG card owners should try your addon to know the value addation you Addons has done.
Alexa: Thanks for all the hard work. Having the same issue w/DHT. No matter which driver I select DHT says expected driver version different than the one present. I have even tried installing from the MSI package alone with each of yours and carved's drivers preinstalled. Same result? All was attempted after vigorous driver and registry cleaning.

That won't happen. Its better that alexa's mods be delivered through a separate addon.

Both Addons unistaller may remove the driver and audio center.I suggested to remove it via device manager.

I forget to say that addons cant work together.You must 1st unistall previous(also recomended to reinstall driver),and then install 2nd addon.
Ok, well, I eventually removed both, reinstalled UNi Xonar 1813 v1.63 beta drivers, and installed addon 2 again and still no enhancements.
Ok,i will see where is the problem,and fix it.
